CONNECT NoVA: Wednesday Nights
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." - Matthew 28:19-20
The Great Commission -- this is our mission as a people of God. We are called to go out into the world and tell people about Jesus Christ, and the incredible hope that we have in him!
Imagine this: You are a world-renowned doctor, and you have just discovered the cure to cancer. How excited would you be? Would you sit around and not share it with anyone? NO! Of course not! You would tell everyone you meet that you have discovered the key to one of our world's worst diseases.
This same analogy applies to our lives as Christians. Jesus is our cure to the sin-cancer in not just our lives, but in the lives of every person on the planet, whether they realize it now or not. And we have received His grace! Now the big question:
Why don't we share this with everyone we meet?
